Support a small business/the arts by clicking the links below. Your support is much appreciated. It affords me the opportunity to work from home while building on my knowledge, skills and techniques. Your support also gives me more time and money for materials towards the charity crocheting I do. Check out my new Etsy Shop called LaughterMonkStitches. Thank you.
I view my artwork as an extension of my experiences. Each piece comes from a personal place meant to evoke a feeling or memory in the viewer. Aspects of comedy and tragedy are explored in various mediums resulting in laughter or pause in my audience.
I am grateful to be a part of the fiber arts community because it is so rich in opportunities to help in various communities. Every year I make work for different projects. They vary as widely as quilted uterus political collaborations to crocheted dolls for sick kids. I enjoy these projects and they allow me to continue learning as well as add some kindness and love into the world.
